Area of Practice:
Crops
Given the rising global population, estimated to be 9 billion food consumers by 2050, there is an urgent need to raise crop productivity while simultaneously preserving the world’s soil, water and natural forest reserves.

With deep experience in crop production, we understand the importance of making every hectare better. Leveraging our affiliation with Land O’ Lakes, Inc. and its subsidiary Winfield Solutions, we take a science-driven approach to produce more food in a sustainable way, while reducing loss and waste.

By promoting climate-smart agriculture tailored to local conditions, we enable farmers to sustainably intensify their use of existing land, labor and water to produce more field crops, fruits and vegetables. This includes helping farmers adopt more effective and efficient water management technology and techniques, and accelerating agricultural innovation, especially around laborsaving technologies. We also help farmers invest in sound natural resource management practices.

Across our programs, we focus on expanding production and access to safe, high quality and nutritious crops for rural and urban consumers.
