By promoting climate-smart agriculture tailored to local conditions, we enable farmers to sustainably intensify their use of existing land, labor and water to produce more field crops, fruits and vegetables. This includes helping farmers adopt more effective and efficient water management technology and techniques, and accelerating agricultural innovation, especially around laborsaving technologies. We also help farmers invest in sound natural resource management practices.
