From Farm to Market: Improving Uganda's Dairy Industry - Long Version

Over a 20 year period, with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Land O'Lakes International Development has assisted with the revitalization of Uganda’s dairy sector through programs that have focused on improving productivity and hygiene at the farm level, forming cooperatives and producer groups, assisting with artificial insemination and introducing improved cattle breeds, training in business practices and marketing, and bringing processors together.
