Land O’Lakes International Development’s Derek Mullen explains the Buy Malawi campaign, which was launched as part of a Food for Progress program, funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The campaign, developed to sensitize Malawian consumers about the importance of buying locally grown and processed products, employs TV, radio and billboard ads, in-store events, and social marketing tools and tactics.
