Mozambique Fact Sheet

Drought and a 16-year civil war have decimated Mozambique's livestock sector, which supports more than 80 percent of the population. This fact sheet chronicles our dairy development programs in Mozambique since 2008, which  helped to establish a new smallholder dairy sector that meets market demand, while addressing the gender constraints faced by female farmers.
