Globally Present, Locally Driven

Our roots stem from a private sector agribusiness in America’s heartland. Our projects, partnerships and local insights cross continents. These factors steer how we work to strengthen global agricultural markets. But, you don’t have to take our word for it. Learn more about individual projects below.

Growth through Nutrition

Increasing access to diverse, safe and quality foods

Funded by USAID and lead by Save the Children, this flagship multi-sector nutrition and WASH project aims to improve the nutritional status of women and children in Ethiopia’s four productive regions, focusing on the first 1000 days (from conception to age two). Building off of our work on the former ENGINE project, Growth through Nutrition is working across all government and society levels to bring multi-sectoral nutrition programming to community levels.

As a sub-partner, our role is to increase access to safe and quality foods through nutrition sensitive livelihood activities. Specifically, we are promoting more nutritious and productive varieties of vegetables, fruits, legumes, bio-fortified crops and small livestock. The project will reach over one million “1000 Days” participants to prevent stunting and expand ENGINE’s work with most vulnerable households to help them overcome economic obstacles and other barriers to optimal nutrition.
